During my 16 year career (and counting) I've had the opportunity to renovate, own and operate several successful rental properties across bustling markets in Southern and Northern Ontario. Fun fact: I purchased my first home on my own at 24 by utilizing the RRSP Home Buyer's Plan. After 5 years of renovating it and adding a rental suite to offset the mortgage payments, it doubled in value! After selling that first house, I was able to purchase a triplex next, again all on my own. It’s a process with risks and rewards and also a reminder that anything is possible.
